A dish for Europe

This event will run from February 1 to March 15, 2002.

An empty plate - can you fill it?

The Theme Park restaurants are trying to revise their menus to give them a more international flavour. The chefs of the restaurants are desperately hunting recipes, that are typical for your different countries or regions in Europe. They are looking for appetisers, main dishes, soups, salads, breads and desserts. The Theme Park managers also want you to invent a new name for the restaurant, where your recipe will be on the menu.

Not only are they looking for typical recipes, and a new name for the restaurant, but they are also interested in recipes, that are perhaps a bit unusual. This is why they have decided to make a contest out of it. If you wish to participate, please read the following guidelines.

Chef chat

Another empty plate - can you fill it?

While the event is on, we will also be having a chat with two of the cooks at the Austrian Gasthaus (inn or guesthouse), Anton and Otto. They will be leading an on-line chat forum about food and any questions you may have about food. You can also ask them questions about themselves and how they became chefs.

Anton or Otto (or both) will be online on Mondays from midday (12.00) to one o'clock (13.00) Central European time - February 1 to March 15, 2002.
